Axios reports Joe Biden – whose party controls the White House, the Senate, and the House – is planning to give a speech attacking Republicans in Congress for the inflation crisis Democrats caused today.

Here are a few things Joe Biden probably won’t mention in his speech:

  • Joe Biden and Democrats ignored warnings from their own economists that their reckless spending would cause an inflation crisis.
  • The New York Times reported Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan caused the inflation crisis.
  • Joe Biden and Democrats spent months dishonestly insisting inflation was transitory.
  • Democrats’ inability to manage the supply chain has made the inflation crisis worse.
  • Democrats tried to pass Build Back Better, which would have exacerbated “inflationary pressures.”

NRCC Comment: “Joe Biden and Democrats are desperately trying to shift the blame for the inflation crisis they caused. Voters know Democrats are responsible for the high prices consumers are paying.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg
